Dear Community Supporter:
The Barlow Youth Basketball League (BYBA) is a non-profit organization that is run strictly by local volunteers who contribute their own time, resources and efforts. Guided by our volunteer coaches and support staff, our children learn valuable life lessons through basketball such as leadership, teamwork, discipline, character development and self-respect.
Every year we are faced with costs that exceed our registration fees. The cost of registration materials, league fees (currently about $750.00 per team), gym rental, insurance, uniforms, officials and equipment are just a few items we must fund each year. Since our fees do not fully cover the actual cost of participation, it is necessary to raise additional funds.
One goal for BYBA is to offer every child a chance to participate, regardless of their financial circumstance. This becomes increasingly more difficult and we depend more on private contributions. While we are going to continue to strive to fulfill this need, we need your help more than ever.
Your support can go to sponsor a team for their league fees plus gym rental (currently about $2000.00) or you can choose to donate to BYBA and benefit all the kids to help with the fees, equipment, scholarships, etc.
